With the average annual cost of energy bills for a 3-bed house set to rise to £3,500*, energy consumption is now more than ever a key consideration for all households. A new report recently published by the Home Builders Federation (HBF), “Watt a Save”, shows that in total, last year’s new build purchasers are saving more than £500m on annual energy bills and new build homes emit a third of the carbon of an older property, reducing carbon emissions by over 500,000 tonnes.
